Let's get rid of the extra fee to use a debit or credit card for payment. Sure, companies incur a fee to use those services, but that should be folded into the price of goods or services. Stop shoving it in our faces that we're using 21st century payment methods and getting punished for it.

What I can't stand is something my son told me-- it's obvious I suppose really. If you're about to be overdrawn bc of 2 separate withdrawals they automatically charge the high one first. The low one might not put you into the red, you know but this way you'll be penalized for both. I forgot about all this-- since I got a bit better off with social security which means I've got a cushion so it doesn't happen anymore. I mean Charles Schwab doesn't let it happen. I suppose he's a terrible Republican but I appreciate the warnings he sends me before any of those bad things happen. I don't travel or eat out or have a car but this is a good life without feeling bad.

If I may-- my landlord doesn't have any fancy things and is adamant that they won't get anything either. You have to deal with them in this antique way. But I found it doesn't matter. Schwab will actually create a check for your rent every month and send it.to them.

Biden obviously doesn't follow the rule "It's Craigslist so it's cash".

It's important to remember Eliz. Warren and all she did. Maybe they've undone it by now. I think of her when I can't understand anything the banks or insurance companies (or medicare) says.

And they sell it to you as a convenience. "We'll let the transaction through so you don't have to worry about your card being declined!" You can refuse this and I always do for debit cards.

Happens in Manhattan, too. Such b.s.

Now let's talk about airline baggage fees (tax-free for the airlines).

Or the lowest price for a book on Amazon vendors -- plus $5.99 for "shipping" that costs 99 cents.

I'm not against dynamic pricing, I just want them to tell you the grand total up front. I recently bought some concert tickets, the service fee was $103 per ticket...

My CU has been generally fair & helpful bit, yeah, couple of years ago I started getting the inactivity fee even tho I had a weekly direct deposit & was doing a monthly automatic payment on a school loan...that wasn't active enough! They said I needed to do something " unusual" once in awhile!

Yeah thats absurd. A lot of them advertise a low rate but then oh by the way the cleaning is $50 a night. It's fraudulent advertising.
