People who didn't want to stand in line or travel to some distant polling place and wait, had been told so many times that the Democrats were going to lose anyhow, they didn't see the point of wearing themselves out for a lost cause. After November 8, seeing what happened elsewhere in the country, there was perhaps some turnout regret in Georgia.
And then too, the right wing smear machine had been dumping over Abrams for years, whereas they only recently got around to dumping over Raphael Warnock.
