My church (UCC) was one of the first Open & Affirming congregations back in the '80s. We share a building (and often Sunday services) with a local Black LGBTQ+ congregation. I'm not the only mom with purple hair. Jesus taught that the two most important things we can do are to love God and to love our neighbor. So that's how we do.
