Beto, you're young. You have many years ahead of you. Run for - and win - the Senate now. There will be more chances to run for President in the future. Like 2032, when you will be finishing your second term as senator.

I know. In 04 it was coming down to Ohio and it was like 3 AM and I’m saying “No, it will be fine because Ohio is a union state!“ 😁 I.e. it was when I was a kid growing up in the 60s and 70s.

The last time Mitch McConnell was up for re-election, he received 800,000 votes. How in the Wide World of Sports can someone who was elected to office by 800,000 (I'll be nice here) Kentuckians wield that much fucking power? It's obscene and probably not at all what the founding fathers had in mind. I'll go drink now.
