John McCain Knows Who Is To Blame For Palin Brawl: Katie Couric, Probably

"Shit happens, you know?" -- John McCain, mostly.

John McCain was minding John McCain's own business, getting interviewed on the teevee, as one does when one is John McCain and it is a day. But darn the liberal media at Phoenix television station KTVK! They just would not stop asking him about the fact that the woman he chose as his vice presidential running mate has birthed a passel of failing, crying, shoeless hillbillies who crash people's parties and sucker-punch the host!

"I think these family affairs are -- I don't know much of the details about it," McCain told the TV station. "Things happen in people's families and I'm not excusing it, I'm not condemning it. [...]

"I just know that the kind of coverage that this got, in my view, is in keeping with the kind of coverage the liberals have accorded to Sarah Palin for a number of years, which in my view, is biased and unfair and sometimes unacceptable," McCain told KTVK.

Poor Sarah Palin, all those mean liberal medias, and only $2.7 million from the rubes this election cycle to dry her tears. (For those of you keeping track at home, SarahPAC has actually upped its giving to federal and state candidates to $163,000 for this cycle -- from its usual "five thousand dollars or so" -- meaning she and her army of "consultants" and "travel agents" have had to make do with only $2.5 millionish in walking-around money. HOW DO THEY EVEN LIVE?)

Anyway, John McCain is mad at you, Katie Couric, probably, for forcing Sarah Palin to become eternal enemies with people who ask her "what do you read?" and "hey, can you please stop punching me in the face?" the end.
