I'm confused about something. In a presumably progressive environment are women and girls still considered less than men? If we want to really insult a despicable man will it be more effective to compare them to women or girls as in telling the man to"put on his big girl panties"? I ask because it seems like misogyny to me unless it's just joking around and I'm being overly sensitive or on my period or whatever.
