Jon Stewart went after the NFL's spate of domestic abuse scandals Wednesday, reviewing the league's initially lax treatment of Ray Rice and Greg Hardy, followed by indefinite suspensions -- but only after public outrage at the mild penalties. "It's the kind of firm decision making we've come to expect. From people who don't know what the fuck they're doing." But don't worry, the NFL hired a panel of four women to advise them on domestic violence policy. "So we're done here." Stewart noted that a business has to be in pretty bad shape "when you have to appoint your own in-house Special Victims Unit."

...does it count if 3 out of the 4 women are Cowboy cheerleaders?
JFC! When I first saw this post I thought, "Wait a minute! is Dok off his meds? Stewart already did this bit last week. Why are we doing reruns on wonkette?" But no, they really do commit domestic violence often enough to get Stewart on them twice in two weeks. Well it must be because the NFL players suffer from socio- economic disadvantages. Oh wait, the league average salary is 1.9 million dollars per year. Well then the people in charge of overseeing the league must be overworked and underpaid and spread to thin. Umm....Roger Goodell made 44 million dollars last year and has a team of well connected former law enforcement officials whose only job is to clean up messes like this. Christ on popsicle stick the local 7-11 graveyard shift is run better than this.

There is more fantasy in the NFL headquarters than in fantasy football.
...and you don't actually need to "pay" them! Win(x)2!!!
