Calm down, and realise that pointing to an example in the book that might alter in some way the claim you made is not making a competing claim, nor is it disingenuous.
I don't know. I'm inclined to believe that this is a tragic accident. If it was not normally his habit to take the kids to day care, if he was sleep deprived, if he had a long commute and the kids were sleeping and he didn't hear them the entire ride? I'm not saying he shouldn't be charged with something along the lines of manslaughter, but I have to think this is a horrible mistake. I can see how something like this could happen. Of course, if it were me, the guilt would be so much I'd probably take violent actions against myself.
