'Journalist' James O'Keefe's Dumb Videos Will Send Hillary TO ELECTION JAIL, You Bet

In a move sure to bring Hillary Clinton's criminal activities to an end, or at least get some more publicity for wingnut famewhore James O'Keefe, wingnut famewhore James O'Keefe has filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission against the Hillary Clinton campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and three super PACs. O'Keefe accuses the groups of "a criminal conspiracy" to DO BAD THINGS.

[wonkbar]<a href="https: //wonkette.substack.com/p/james-okeefe-gets-democratic-operatives-fired-countdown-to-when-he-pays-them-100000-starts-now"></a>[/wonkbar]Conveniently enough, all the evidence for the complaint is contained in the two dumb videos O'Keefe squeezed out onto the internet earlier this week, although the scary music from the videos is not included in the paperwork. (Sheet music of the score may later be filed as an exhibit.) The complaint even cites former Americans United for Change field director Scott Foval's "confession" from the videos:

“Journalists with Project Veritas Action Fund ('PVA') have uncovered a criminal conspiracy, where, in the words of Scott Foval, ‘The way that works is: The [Hillary for America] campaign pays DNC, DNC pays Democracy Partners, Democracy Partners, Democracy Partners pays The Foval Group, The Foval Group goes and executes ... on the ground,” says the complaint, filed Tuesday.

"This has been done in a manner to evade federal election law and violating coordinate expenditure rules. This criminal conspiracy involves the knowing and willful creation of coordinated expenditures from prohibited corporate sources.”

Yr Wonkette is Not A Lawyer, but we do wonder: if this actually moves forward, would the FEC be able to demand O'Keefe and Projectile Demitasse release the raw video, so it can be compared to the hack job of editing in the tapes released Monday and Tuesday? Not that we think the FEC will really go anywhere with this, since A) O'Keefe is a known charlatan, con artist, mountebank, and ne'er do well, and 2) The system is rigged. Or who knows, maybe the FEC will investigate, and eventually fines may be paid, and President Clinton will be impeached in her first year in office. For at least the third time. At the very least, here we are mentioning James O'Keefe and his stupid videos again.

Incidentally, we learned another new thing about Mr. O'Keefe! According to a report by Think Progress, O'Keefe's Project Vanitas has its own little connection to a presidential candidate: Donald Trump donated at least $10,000 from the Trump Foundation in 2015 to O'Keefe's group in 2015. Remember how Trump claimed in Wednesday's debate that violent protests at a Trump Rally in March were paid for by Hillary Clinton? Yeah, that dubious claim -- Politico reported the protests were organized by students -- is from O'Keefe's fakey little videos, which it turns out Trump had a hand in paying for himself. Odd Trump didn't mention that.

And so James O'Keefe, brave teller of truths, continues to prosper -- perhaps once the outcome of the 2016 election is reversed, thanks to O'Keefe's two pioneering 16-minute videos, he will become Trump's personal Leni Reifenstahl, only without the stylish cinematic skills. That's OK, though. Have you even seen Olympia? Some of that stuff looks pretty gay, bro, and it wouldn't sit well with the "alt-right." Maybe an anime version...
