The more I see renderings of this monstrosity the more I appreciate the requirement for architectural review by architectural historians that is required for all such projects. It is obvious to the trained eye that this edifice is NOT A MATCH for the existing White House in size or style. Not to mention the illegal demolition of the East Wing. As a former DC building permit expediter I am keenly aware of how many important rules and laws this project violated. I am mostly disappointed that it took the courts this long to rule on the question. Let's hope that the project is rejected on the merits. I hope the conspiracy of corporations does not mind paying twice, because they are either going to restore the East Wing or demolish and completely redesign the project, at their expense.
