Discovery should also be fun for The Atlantic when Kra$h's defamation suit against Sarah Fitzgerald gets to that stage...IF it gets to that stage, given the "falsehood" threshold, if you take my meaning.
Too bad Dominion settled ‘cuz a guilty verdict there would have been pretty good evidence that Fox News has a history of maliciously promoting lies.
Remember also that a key part of Fox News’ defense was that their talking head shows were ENTERTAINMENT, NOT NEWS and that reasonable viewers already know this. Their words, not mine.
If I was a Democratic media consultant, I would be pushing that message all the time. Fox News knows its viewers are dupes, its disinformation is not fact, and they will admit it in court when they think they’ll have to pay out.
The Biden administration should have revoked their White House press pass.
"Watters also snarked — though this isn’t in the lawsuit — that “Fox News invited [Newsom] on the show to talk it out man to man, but he said no,” implying the governor was a little chicken girly-man."
But who would be the man that Newsom would talk with? Sure as hell couldn't be Watters as he is a living piece of shit.
Aside from the answers you've already received below, discovery usually involves the exchange of documents pertaining to the issues of the case. So if someone was dumb enough to put in an email something implying that they knew the on-air statements were untrue? That's really bad for Fox News.
Basically discovery is a pre trial investigation of the evidence and witnesses which will be involved in the trial. Both sides get to ask questions which can lead to some interesting info coming out that can fuck people over.
I'm not a legal professional but it's my understanding that the discovery aspect of a trial involves the revelation of the down and dirty details regarding the legal specifics of the case too many plaintiffs would prefer to keep on the down low.
Ta, Dok. Discovery should be LIT!!
New slogan...
Fox News. We distort, "Gavin lied".

Fox News Unsuitable for viewers with an IQ over 75
If Foz was smart(they aren’t) they’d settle for 700 million.
Hope he gets every penny and more.
and then maybe donated a lot of it to some really progressive cause that would piss off the GOP...
They seem to think that the actual malice standard protects them, then they go out and are actually malicious.
“Judge Lugg, that nut,”
😂😂😂😂😂
It’s why I subscribe

Yes. And claim they are entertainment
"Lugg Nuts!" When the Big Lugg had had enough!
It's a tough case, I mean Gavin has to prove that Fox knows anything about anything.
Get em Gavin!
That wouldn't be a bad slogan for him lol 😂

He’s talked with living pieces of shit before, apparently watters was a bar too low.
There're really aren't any "men" working at Fox
You Big Lugg 2: Electric Luggaloo
I shared a hospital room with a Luggalo in 2019. Nice guy.
WHOOP WHOOP
Why does Jesse Watters vandalize coworkers cars in order to kidnap and rape them?
To marry them later!
I really would like a Democrat, wealthy person, to buy Faux newz and burn it to the ground...our country, nay our WORLD, would be better off.
It’s called onioning now.
Can someone explain like I'm five what discovery is?
It is the reason 99.9% of the threats Trump makes to sue people are bullshit, and why he always settles out of court.
He ain't want no discovery.
Sure, in civil court, once you have established that a case has merit, you're allowed to go on a fishing expedition for more supporting evidence.

You mean like watters being in the Epstein files and details of that?
exactly like that .
