The best day for me since that clown was inaugurated was the Woman's March.

You seem to have some very serious rage issues. What Queenie said up there should not have gotten you at all riled up. She entered into a balanced discourse over how most societies view morals, mores and ethics and you jumped off the deep end. Why?

I can see that you are one of those people who thinks they know more about every subject under discussion than anyone else. You are also arrogant, rude and condescending, and do not apparently understand the rules of social intercourse, polite debate, or non-commenting on Wonkette. That being so, I feel no regret about blocking you. If you wish to scream your opinions and belittle everyone else's, you might want to do it somewhere else.

What is your problem? Bad medication, or do you just not like to hear different opinions?

So ... it’s a question of *numbers* for you? I mean, I think Trayvon Martin and Tamir Rice and Amadou Diallo and Walter Scott and Eric - and Erica - Garner's moms (and that's just off the top of my head) might disagree, but to get the accurate headcount you apparently require, you'd have to query the descendants of the owners of all those boats that docked in Virginia and South Carolina and Maryland. And I hope you're familiar with the boats to which I'm referring, and aren't being excessively and unnecessarily pedantic - or deliberately obtuse - about all this.

You could be right, but since people refer to them as morals, I prefer to do that as well. Your average person has no idea what "mores" are.

I realize that most people use the terms "morals" and "ethics" interchangeably, but I feel that "morals" are standards that change in time and space, while ethics remain fairly stable in both time and space. For example, when my mother was a young girl it was immoral for women to smoke or wear pants in public, and no decent woman left the house without a hat and gloves. In my grandmother's day, no decent women was ever found outside her bedroom without her corset on. Those moral standards have vanished and been replaced with new ones. Simultaneously, in other parts of the world, different moral standards existed that Europeans and Americans found strange and unacceptable. Ethics, however, while not necessarily universal, do tend to follow certain patterns around the world.

Adultery was once a horrible moral sin, and even a crime. We don't hear about that anymore, and now we have a multiple adulterer in the White House and 40% of Americans don't care, and as for ethics ... they only apply to the other side. We live in strange times.

Fuck no. But I hate the mis-use of the word Genocide. Genocide is what hitler did to Jews, the handicapped, intellectuals, Roma, etc. He killed 13 million people. What we did to Native Americans was genocide. What happened in Rwanda was genocide.

What we are doing to men, women and children seeking asylum from Central America, since our government knows exactly whats going on there, is rank, vicious cruelty.

Though I wouldn't put it past Stephen Miller to come up with a plan involving genocide. Because Miller is a Nazi, and so is Trump. I agree that the ICJ should be getting involved.

I've written letters to all my Senators and Representatives. I cannot march any more. All I can do is give little bits of money to lefty candidates who oppose this administration and what it's doing to people.

I was going to tell you about the Cambridge Analytica whistleblower who lit Boris Johnson up as a link to the Russian meddling in the American election - but that was before I realized that is happening in the UK https://twitter.com/HNormal...
