I actually feel sorry for Mueller. He and Barr were friends for decades. Their wives used to do Bible study together. I know how much of a gut punch it was for me when my "decent" Republican friends voted for Trump. I can't imagine what it's like for him to watch his friend go full Roy Cohn even to the point of slandering Mueller in the press and turning his back on every principle. The betrayal of it all is breathtaking.
