Yeah, let's grossly overpay for a PC company, at peak valuation, just as IBM (the smarter company) was getting out of the PC biz. But later on they also stepped in it big time by buying Autonomy (software company) and then discovering it was a load of rubbish.

Considering all the sneaky laws that let real estate developers reap crap tons of money and give nothing back? I would say there is probably a large share of assholes among them.
I think we need to give more credence to green space and how to incorporate it wisely. All the development around me go right up to the side walk with barely space for a flower bed. It's depressing as hell compared to older development with lawns that let people congregate and enjoy the outside.

None of them could come up with a reasonable rationale for HP buying Compaq (aka Fiorina’s Folly).
