if it turns out these numpties were all talk and no trousers, then that is a free speech violation no? i mean I agree that the threat has to be investigated for credibility, but if none is found, then the announcements made by Kash become libel don't they? cos i can talk about violence against my 'enemy' (tacky and unimaginative as it would be to do so, not to mention dumb) but if i don't have the weapons/means to enact that talk, its not actionable by the law enforcement?

No trousers is the second law of the Wonkeratti.

No, Patel will never grow into a man-sized jacket.

Not only that, he will never *ever* be even *half* the man his granny was.

The only thing I know about Riverside, CA is that Spike and Mike (of the Sick and Twisted Animation Festivals) hailed from there. Mike Gribble, according to featured animator Mike Judge, was the inspiration for Dale Gribble on his show "King of the Hill". So, right there. There are probably a bunch of Californian paranoid conspiracy theorists we don't yet know about hailing from Riverside.

We know for a fact the Cincinnati Kid is a 19-year-old living in his mother's basement.

Carl Maniscalco's avatar

My late wife had family in Riverside. Trust me, the place is a hell-hole of evangelicals, MAGA chuds, preppers, meth heads and assorted white trash. I’m never surprised when something bad arises from that place.

Biff52 Lost Canadian's avatar

Yeah, and they elected Chad Bianco as their county sheriff.

Erisian's avatar

But the good news is Chud Bianco, a CSPOA affiliate and the walking embodiment of whale shit, had his ass handed to him in the CA primary for Governor. (Karma, baby.)

Roughly, after Nixon and before Trump.

Kash Patel is a dumpster fire of embarrassment.

Daniel O'Riordan's avatar

Too bad the missing Mom's mom isn't around to tell Kash where the missing Mom is.

GrannysKnitting's avatar

i suspect a lot of cases of violent crimes are 'cracked' because someone else blew the whistle and handed the deets over to the law enforcement ppl

Daniel O'Riordan's avatar

It seems like every major case Kash's FBI has "cracked" has been from family member's blowing the whistle.

Ouch! (because true, right?!)

But for the record, even if my parents were still alive (which they haven't been for decades), they wouldn't speak with this bobble-headed lying piece of shit.

a $3,000 budget for guns and tactical armor doesn't really buy that much anymore. i mean, that might work for patriot front, but that's not even a starter set for a right wing militia.

Since every word coming out of law enforcement's and the Frump administration's bootlickers is always a lie, I am suspending judgement on this alleged domestic terrorism attack. Have they blamed Antifa yet?

One article I read said that the 19-yr-old had become "very religious" and that the group wanted to provoke the fall of the US government as a prelude to Armageddon. I have no idea where theh press got that information, and it obviously might be true or might not be true. If true, I suspect it was a fantasy. If 10,000 MAGAtroids couldn't achieve it on January 6, then a dozen online geeks can't do it either.

Linoleum von Curmudgeon, Esq.'s avatar

Putting Kash at the top of the FBI was a demand made by the MAGA loving ICE workforce in exchange for their votes.

The barely educated and poorly trained goons at ICE had long chafed at how the snooty, college educated and elitist FBI agents got all the praise and honor while they sat at the kids table of Law Enforcement.

Kash is the ICE goon squads revenge for years of being the red-headed step children of the police state.

It's telling on how incompetent Trump's regime is, isn't it, that he continuously blames Biden and Obama for his own mistakes? The people in that room have probably met or worked with Obama, and/or Biden, and they probably have competent staff, time to read the important stuff, and working senses. The G7 knows what's what here, and are treating Trump like he's got rabies and will do anything if provoked. They probably have plenty to say to one another when the Orange Menace and his entourage are not in the room.

We're all stuck with this situation and, knowing how awful the VPOTUS and his handlers are, I can only hope that while we look forward to a certain obituary appearing at the top of all the news, I hope most of us are in it to win it no matter how many years and elections it takes to right the ship. I feel your rage and pain, Miss Grundy.

Queen Méabh's avatar

They go on and on about Obama's alleged "bribe" which was nothing more than giving Iran back their own money which had been frozen in banks for decades. I wondered at the time if they got the accumulated interest????

Miss Grundy's avatar

I quoted a fact sheet yesterday and now I can't find it but, initially, Iran had deposited $400 million in a trust fund that was supposed to be used to buy arms back in the 70s, if memory serves. That trust fund was frozen so Iran could not access it but it did accrue interest, which amounted to about $1.3 billion dollars. So, with the JCPOA, Iran was able to get $1.7 billion dollars back. In the current MOU, Iran will be able to get $300 billion. Yet the Orange-Faced Pedo keeps yelling that he made the better deal instead of Obama. Yeah, no.

Queen Méabh's avatar

Plus we paid how much to fight this “war”????? $30 billion? Plus the global economy was hit with with an estimated $2.2 trillion impact on annual GDP and increased consumer costs for everyday goods and energy.

With more “victories” like this the USA will be bankrupt.

satch's avatar

Consider also: Some of the countries were co signers of the JCPOA.

Miss Grundy's avatar

Yes, and by association he was insulting them for signing on to the JCPOA. This orange-faced pedo could use a Dale Carnegie seminar on "How to Win Friends and Influence People".

Daniel O'Riordan's avatar

I understand that Trump was in the "The Power of Positive Thinking" camp.

Miss Grundy's avatar

His parents, Fred and Maryann, would take him and his siblings to Marble Collegiate Church and they would listen to sermons given by Norman Vincent Peale. That is where he picked up the toxic positivity message.

Bagels of Doom's avatar

It would be too bad if anyone used Trump's erosion of rules against him and his brood.

Rooster Cogburn's avatar

But wouldn't that make moderate suburban Republicans and donors nervous"

Asking for a DNC consultant

Miss Grundy's avatar

It's about time we made those people "nervous" and DNC "consultants" need to be ridden out of town on a rail because none of them probably have consulted on a winning campaign in a very long time.
