Turns out it was a slow loris, the only venemous primate. It secretes a venom in its underarm. In defense, it licks the venom and then bites its target, puncturing the skin and injecting venom.
If all of that's surprising, what's really surprising is it's not native to Australia.

With Kash, the only thing I'm coming up with is a parody of "Miami Vice", where Tubbs and Crockett have to do a cooperative investigation with the FBI and Kash thinks it's a reality tv show. The payoff is that the criminal gang leaders feel so sorry for Tubbs and Crockett that they join forces with the pair to figure out how to get Kash drunk and distracted so he's harmless.
