Yeah, and John Roberts was just supposed to be an umpire until he rewrote the Citizens United case to his liking. And declared racism in voting access ended.
And although Warren’s answer was pretty tone deaf, the outright politicization of the dude’s immigration status is just outright belligerent. Aren’t these the people who say “too soon” after every shooting?
The Democrats in Congress should unite as a bloc and absolutely refuse to consider Kavanaugh until all this shit is cleared up. If it takes years, so be it. The Republicans wouldn't hesitate to do so if the shoe was on the other foot- fuck, they actually did it with Garland!!
Don't know about others here, but my MSNBC is constantly running these syrupy pro-Kavanaugh commercials, gauzy portraits of him from women (one of his law clerks, another a family friend) saying that Kavanaugh is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being they've ever known in their lives. (Oh, all paid for by the shadowy "Judicial Action Network" or something, dark money right wing finded garbage front org.)
This is the Kavanaugh who demanded he grill Bill Clinton with the most prurient, lurid and disgustingly pornographic questions, like which orifices and wastebaskets he ejaculated in, disturbingly pervertedly keen on the details. Also wanting to make them public as possible, to a family audience so to speak. After pre-declaring that he wasn't letting Clinton off the hook, no. Literally pre-judging, as in prejudice.
We should all demand that congressional Democrats absolutely refuse to consider Kavanaugh as Justice, until all this Trumpian malevolence and crime is cleared up. Definitely not before the midterms at the very least. It is time for Democrats to play FUCKING HARDBALL on this. There is nothing left to lose.
I would think that if you have a Republican senator, you apply pressure to him/her. Angry people back home do have an effect on what they do in Washington.
Nope. The Swedish Chef got it from the name of that Swedish tennis feller, Björn Bork.
wooosh. Over my head. I meant this thing:

Some people should be forgotten.
That's not from the Swedish Chef?
I.e., he's a Republican?
Confirming, once again, that R's are unfit to hold public office and should be banned from same.

Vote. The non-batshit crazy judges are old.
OMG yes.

me too. Knowing what I do now of course....
Hope some republicans get a conscience and refuse to vote for him?

Who's to say she didn't binge watch in the evening? The jury wasn't sequestered
