If you're really adventurous, there's a state park in Arkansas where you can dig for your own diamonds. Fuck DeBeers!

Just wan leetle question: shouldn't the women *also* file criminal charges against the managers? So not only does Signet pay, but THE BASTARDS GO TO JAIL, and do not collect $7.1M?

Diamonds are just shiny rocks, and aren't really that rare. The whole mania for them, and the idea that a woman isn't completely without plenty of shiny rocks was cooked up by the DeBeers family, who happen to control much of the world's supply of gem-quality diamonds.

Buy them if you must, but be aware that there's no such thing as an ethically clean diamond. Unless you found it yourself at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas.

There is a small, independent jewelry store in my town. They have really pretty stuff. I have bought myself a couple of rings there from their estate jewelry section. One is an opal(my favorite stone), and the other is a small tiger's eye.

Exactly. When I was still wearing a wristwatch, it was the very first thing to go off as soon as I got home from work.

Now the pants go off first, as it should be.
