Clearly this lady is crazy and is giving all DO's a bad name, which is unfortunate. They are full-fledged physicians. I have worked with many excellent DO's, and many horrible MD's. Dont blame her terrible judgment on the fact that she is a DO. Rather, blame it on the fact that she is a republican

They have to pass boards and complete residency so they actually are real doctors. Its unfortunate that most people only know of DO's because of this idiot

'it's the "message" that Matters.'

What a succinct and perfect distillation of current conservative thinking.

Truth doesn't matter. Facts don't matter.Research doesn't matter. Leadership doesn't matter. Governing doesn't matter. Lives don't matter.

_Only_ the message matters.

Doctors, yes. Pharmacists? Yup, go to jail. Nurses? Not sure.

Chances are they'll have someone steal them from a hospital, just like their Dear Leader.

Actually lots of health insurance companies use DOs for primary care doctors in their HMO plans. So they probably get DOs cheaper.

DOs and ODs are not the same, the latter being doctors of optometry. Ophthalmologists can be MDs or DOs. There were a lot of osteopaths in the US Military. I'm not snarking ; as an MD, I have a few outstanding colleagues who were DOs, including one of my chief residents when I was in training.

Yeah, they are all sporting the exact same expressions under those masks. Which they wear, just like the "all the same" scrubs, as part of their job. Good god, woman.

"an osteopathic doctor herself"

Well there's your problem right there. She's a fake playing at being a read medical professional, so she thinks everyone is doing it - and that's just fine if they're on her side.

My old doctor was a DO. Had her for over 20 years. When their practice stopped taking my insurance, I had to get a new doctor, and this one's an MD. I haven't noticed any change other than individual personalities.

Wait! She's the same Kelli Ward that was too loony to get elected?
