Kentucky Republicans Post Gotcha Vid Of Senate Candidate Riding In Back Seat Of Own Car Like Some La Dee Da Princess Lady
Kentucky Democrats can say goodbye to any hope of ousting Mitch McConnell, now that the state's chapter of College Republicans have posted this shocking video of Kentucky Secretary of State and senatorial candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes being picked up at the airport by her husband. The video shows her sitting in the back seat of the couple's black Suburban as her husband puts her luggage in the back. The nerve of that woman! The College Republicans' press release gasps:
We think you'll agree – this.is.weird.
We couldn't agree more. Who the hell uses hipster emphasis periods without capitalizing or spacing? That. Is. Stupid.
The press release does its best to portray Lundergan Grimes as -- let's be honest -- uppity:
Apparently Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky's Secretary of State who is less than half way through her first term in her first public office, thinks she's so important that she needs to ride around town in the back seat of a black suburban…driven by personal chauffeur, her husband.
Popular belief was that Hollywood had left Kentucky when Ashley Judd finally was forced out by fellow democrats, but perhaps after rubbing elbows with Harry Reid and Hollywood liberals Alison Lundergan Grimes has returned to KY thinking she's the new star in town.
While Alison Lundergan Grimes clearly loves the elitest [sic] Hollywood lifestyle, we hope that she will remember the hard working Kentuckians that are losing their jobs due to Obmacare, [sic] Hollywood's liberal agenda and Barack Obama and Harry Reid's 'war on coal.’
Yeah, what other kind of high-living Hollyweirdness is Lundergan Grimes up to? Bathing in tap water? Buying fancy-schmancy brand-name products instead of the store brands, which are just as good and far more sensible? Getting her television via cable or satellite instead of with rabbit ears? We bet she even eats that fancy Dijon ketchup, like her idol, Barck Obma, and has a mattress up on a fancy "frame" instead of right on the floor like God meant it to be.
And what of her poor husband, the chauffeur? We bet he's learned a thing or two about campaign visuals -- no matter what, move the groceries from the front seat to the wayback before you meet Alison at the airport.
