Funny he's bitching about $ going to California, since that's where *checks notes* his fucking district is located! This dumb motherfucker is actually complaining about his own constituents—who are statically much lower-income than those in San Francisco/Bay Area in the first place and more likely to have been hit hard by the pandemic/recession—getting badly needed economic relief.

Also, as a San Francisco resident, Kevin "I think Putin pays Trump" McCarthy can fuck off forever.

Bee! So hard on Rondalla!First time there, I went to the taqueria, confronting the cook at the open kitchen just inside the door....his t shirt and work pants covered some of his robust self.Ever after, we would admire the Xmas lights and the deer mounts, with, as my so put it "tiny grease balls at the tips of each hair!"Still be there, but we were landscapers and our work was 15 miles south. Was a great hood, in its own sweet way 😊

He represents a district I spent a lot of time in, which is probably why so much of the South makes me mildly nostalgic. His constituates are majority poor, brown and......poorFfs 😤

Same here. The early 70s were past the hippie era, when the city was more like its old self. You could be poor and live decently, if carefully. All the museums were free, the old main library was a haven, you could walk nearly anywhere and not fear for your life.A favorite pastime was the all day Muni pass on Sunday. 50 cents! Would read up a bunch of obscure history and ride all over the place!😊

Now.Nope.Got too dystopian

The district he represents has a median income of $63,000, which is a whopping $15,000 below the national median. In other words, this bill will help his constituents significantly.

It's also barely 50% white. Yet the voters are Republican +14. A case study in people voting their fears and resentments more than their needs. Biden needs to go to Bakersfield and talk to those folks.

"History will not be kind to what transpires here today,"

I’m pretty sure history will be kinder about what happened in Congress on 3/10 than it will be about what happened on 1/6.

One of my past internet names is "Mr. Cremaster".

Another is "Mr. Forchet". Only one person understood that one, and she didn't like it.
