Los Angeles deputies fatally shot Dijon Kizzee FIFTEEN times yesterday.
"The sheriff's office has said Dijon Kizzee was stopped for riding his bicycle in violation of vehicle codes, tried to run away, and was then shot after dropping a bundle of items that included a handgun.
But with no body cameras in use by the deputies and no cell phone video yet to surface, activists say the public is being asked to take the sheriff's department's account of the incident at face value, and given the recent spate of fatal police encounters with Black men, protesters are once again claiming injustice."
Kizzee's body was left in the street for several hours.
Mr. Wine and all of the LPD Higher-ups who had *anything* to do with making that offer should be fired (and should be permanently banned from any future jobs in law enforcement), and Mr. Wine should lose his Law license *permanently*.
Or as I often hear it called, "The FAILED War on Drugs". Failed because all it did was put a bunch of people in prison for what were, in essence, petty crimes, or no crimes at all.
