I just finished the first year of babysitting a 5 year old, now a break till after Labor Day when school starts. He's starting kindergarten and I will be picking him up and bringing him home from his new school which is not in the neighborhood(so subway ride.) Today I met his grandma as I dropped him off, as I went to shake her hand she grabbed mine with both hers very warmly, with a big smile, telling me, "thank you so much for taking such good care of my grandson." Then his mom had a thank you card with a little cash bonus for me, saying how grateful their family was for the wonderful care I've shown their son.

Babysitting is not a job you get rich doing but it has it's rewards. I love kids, I'm a big kid at heart so I think that's why I'm good at this, that and being really trustworthy, flexible and reliable.(the little things)

Tiny homes can be permanent housing... though MOBILE tiny homes that aren't hooked up to the city sewer system create problems when used as permanent housing. Personally I think tiny homes are bad ass, though I guess I wouldn't turn down a 4 million dollar mansion in Detroit.
