Don't bother with that "hope" thing. The argument is coming from the other side and they are lieberal LIARS!!!

IL is being very aggressive with marketing good news stories. i suspect other states are as well.

the problem is mouth breathers are more interesting and fox news doesn't want obama to win.

She now has a bad case of the CD, which will no doubt cause her brain to explode if she doesn't get some mental help. Not a problem, Obamacare will cover it.

Here's to hoping that these examples finally manage to convince a few influential "journalists" that the GOP is thoroughly full of garbage. It's one thing to spew a bunch of discredited nonsense about economics, and sociology, and even the Ryan "budget", because these are complicated subjects that take effort to appreciate.

However, when you start explicitly arguing that 2+2=5... Well, I hold out some sliver of hope that our electorate can manage to at least be capable of literally "adding two and two together".

Seriously. The folks who created that ad presumably did some minimal research and knew quite well that the numbers didn't add up right. Yet they ran it, confident that the facts don't matter in a war based entirely on fictions, propaganda, and feels.

And in the midterm elections it's likely to work, at least in the gerrymandered districts. Everything depends on how much we can turn out the voters in swing districts and Senate races. The GOP is all about firing up the craziest of the crazies, hoping to get both the Senate and the House. If they do, they can live with not ever getting the White House back again (which seems to be their longterm strategy).

i signed up a lovely gentleman on the north side of chicago today. he was very pleased with his plan selection and his $186 / month silver plan.

he was equally pleased that - as someone living with AIDs - he could get insurance on the private market and afford his meds.

these are pretty much the stories i hear every goddamn day.

oh, yeah. and fuck you republicans. fuck you sideways.

Oops - it was Bob Grant - not Bill Cunningham. There probably isn't any difference - but just to set the record straight.

See that flag in the middle, just to the left of the American flag?

Bill Cunningham ranted about how Sen. Obama was so conceited he had his own flag designed for his Presidential campaign.

It's the state flag of Ohio.
