I am going to have to watch Ghandi again. It has been far too long; the inspiration is sorely needed.

Not to mention the fact that as soon as November 1st rolls around, the outdoor seating that allowed many places to reopen will simply have to shut down again. The smaller restaurants can't survive on 50% indoor occupancy if they only have 25 tables in the first place in a tiny location.

And even the heartiest of New England souls are disinclined to eat outdoors when there's snow on the ground.

OMG - KISMET to the nth degree. I was just telling my ma that I have 3 different financial advisers. They are Larry Kudlow, Stephen Moore, and Rick Santelli. I listen to them, because they are always wrong, about everything, all the time. If you're smart, you listen to them, and then do the opposite.

Kudlow said in September 2008 "recession, what recession? There's not going to be a recession!" The banks started to collapse a month later. I KNEW the housing market had been slowing down by 2006, so it was clear to me in 2007 that we were headed for a recession.

Santelli went on a famous rant about how it wasn't anyone's responsibility to bail out "reckless" homeowners who couldn't afford their mortgages (since the bums had lost their jobs). I said to my boss at the time "if the banks would just work with people, there wouldn't be a huge glut of foreclosures and short sales." I THOUGHT that the banks would be dicks, flood the market with foreclosures, kill everyone's property values, and cause an economic collapse, which was EXACTLY what they did. There was no reason for that to happen. Things could have been merely bad, but the banks managed to make sure they were terrible, and Santelli cheered them on.

"Is Larry Kudlow aware that the third quarter is already one-third over, and it's not looking that good?"Just to clarify.. is Kudlow talking calendar quarters? Shouldn't he speak in fiscal quarters?

I fail to understand why this guy keeps get airtime. He is consistently wrong on economic topics (his alleged area of expertise) and speaks expansively on all other areas, including health matters when it's obvious he knows even less about everything else, a difficult feat to be sure

"Most of the West is -- I mean, the whole Northeast is open, and most of the Midwest, Jake."We know where the economy is booming, Jake. It's in the area around the United States and east, west, south and north somewhat.

The only headline with Larry Kudlow's name would/should be if he is actually correct about something.
