All too true. Reminds me of the Sully movie. And it makes me wonder if there are better ways to deal with the kind of unprovoked shooting that could mean someone is on a spree. Or in this case of mass sniper-like thing. Even more so if the security guard was shot in a hail of bullets, somewhere it was reported 200 rounds into the hall, I think. If the gun laws are going to be so weak the police communications need to be stronger.
I am decidedly NOT a wingnut conspiracy theorist, but I did wonder whether antidepressants or other psychotropic medications were involved. Many people take these meds safely, and find their effects therapeutic. However, some people get the urge to harm themselves or others while under the influence.
Why do we care what conspiracy freaks think? I mean is what they're saying now better than what they're going to say? In either case they're like the crazy guy on the corner with a bullhorn shouting, "The End of the World is Nigh!!!"
The sheriff in charge held his men back because he feared for their welfare. I know that enraged me too. That was their job, but they decided to let the boys kill more people before they went in harm's way.
