Was it dismissed with or without Prejudice?

This is what they want. When more crimes/ fraud/ sedition are exposed (and they will be), they will say, he is untouchable. “You let him off before for worse. You can’t possibly charge/ prosecute him now!” We need to say, “Oh yes we can and will!”

FUCK ALL these people for not having the courage to follow through on these charges. FUCK the FBI for it's "Gentleman's Agreement" not to prosecute presidents. Fuck Garland for being a slow moving lazy asshole.

And FUCK YOU Joe Biden, for not firing Garland's useless ass and putting in someone who would do the fucking job.

Justice delayed, is justice denied. There is no rule of law in this country anymore.

Is Biden going to appoint some Judges before the clock runs out?!

Cthulhu's avatar

Course not! Wouldn't be sporting, doncha know?

I can only hope that someday that fucking man and every single person who enables him feel just how much they suck at being humans, and how much pain they've caused. I'll leave the hows and the wherefores to the gods. Grrr.

Garland considered it his main priority to defend the institutions, which he decided was to make damned sure that the commoners who dared to physically attack it were prosecuted and powerfully deterred from ever trying such an attack again. He wasted no time nor spared any effort in that.

The people who publicly invited them? Unfortunately, letting the rich and powerful get away with their crimes is a core value of our institutions. Garland protected that, too.

When the histories of these disgusting times are finally written, I hope and expect that Garland's culpability will be featured prominently.

As Jeff Tiedrich's dad used to say, "We have a lot of laws but very little justice."

Yes, but he's still an imbecile.

There is no end to the number of times I want all these horrific people to experience the consequences of their actions. It would make a delightful change from the rest of us having to experience the consequences of their actions, which has been happening for a decade or more and I want to punch it all in the gums. F*ck TFG and all his minions.

Allowing a man like Trump to somehow ascend to our highest office, break the law in full view of the world over and over again and then fail to hold him accountable is a damning indictment about America as the shining city on a hill some think it is. November is often bleak, especially in the Midwest. I look forward to spring and summer each year. But it’s very hard to imagine 4 more springs and summers with that bastard affecting people’s lives. It’s weighing on me.

"Prosecuted... at levels never seen before" (!I may be paraphrasing) sounds like mob boss for "televised executions by firing squad will commence." "Little Donny Napolehitstalin Jong Un" has spoken.

Unless I either misread this story or Michael Popok has his information incorrect but many of these Indictments were "Dismissed without Prejudice". Popok is implying that these cases CAN all come back at Trump. So this is over.....FOR NOW!

Jack Smith outfoxed Trumps team and he still needs to produce a written Report, which THIS Senate will ensure see's the light of day.

ST:TOS s3e20 - The Cloud Minders. Enterprise is on a priority errand to pick up and transport xenite somewhere to combat a botanical plague. Troglytes do not cooperate as agreed and ambush Kirk & Spock, but a contingent from cloud city Stratos come to the rescue, stunning one and driving off the rest. Spock has an interesting talk with Droxine, daughter of the High Advisor. Kirk intervenes in the torture of one of the Disruptor Troglytes and is ordered off the planet.

Is Substack still misbehaving?

Was it not misbehaving for a while? Sorry that I missed that.

In other news, Trump has finally signed the ethics documents for the transition but apparently crossed off the part where he has to disclose who is donating to his transition team, because l’etat c’est moi.

Apparently it’s optional

You just think about what a triumph Trump's election is when you're enjoying your frosty cold, *affordable* eggnog this Fourth of July!
