Well, zero. The best we can do is 50/50 so Kamala can be a tie breaking vote. Warnock and Ossoff will get us there. there’s plenty to do for the next two years before we need more than that. I really hope that we can pull it off.
A 50/50 senate would take the leadership away from Mitch. Kamala Harris would have the final vote on new senate leader.
Mitch is going to be there on the roster another six years barring health issues or him having done something criminal that is worth it for the new AG to investigate.
We probably would have been more likely to get a stimulus passed if Biff had won re-election. But now Moscow Mitch is in full sabotage mode, so we're boned.
She was right to refuse the shit sandwich they were offering then, and she should say no to the shit sandwich they're offering now. Anything that offers corporate immunity but doesn't include emergency payments to everyone, help for strapped states and localities, and increased and extended unemployment only take the corporate pressure off Congress to act while doing nothing for the rest of us. No more help is going to come if Wall Street isn't hurting with the rest of us.
In relation to immunity for corporations, the North Carolina Secretary of Labor, Cherie Berry, has refused to call Covid a workplace hazard and will not issue any requirements on workplace safety related to the virus. According to her, there is no way of telling where transmission of the virus occurs (maybe dirty toilet seats?), so why pick on corporations. Of course, NC has a lot of poultry processing plants that have been Covid hotspots, but maybe the third of the line workers infected caught it at the grocery store, not while standing shoulder to shoulder with dozens of other people for hours at a time, cutting up chicken. She's confident that businesses will do the right thing voluntarily. Of course, without any mandatory infection control requirements, suing a business will be almost impossible.
On the other hand, they could just leave him in Xmas Past.
Oooh, I hope she makes Mitch squeal like the little piggy he is (apologies to piggies).
Bingo

Moscow Mitch's antics are really testing my commitment to the Commenting Rules.
Their liability is the reason they follow CDC guidelines.

Mitch is the dog in a clear and present manger.
Whatever the deal is with Mitch's hands, I would not be unhappy to learn it was a progressive condition.
Mitch is going to be there on the roster another six years barring health issues...
He plans to bar a whole lot more than health issues over the next six years.
I meant unless his health declines he’ll be there six more years but yes everything. He’s got hundreds of house bills sitting in his office.

The smoking gun is the managers started avoiding the production floor because they were afraid of getting infected.
I guess we'll know for sure that corporations are people when MoscowMitch doesn't care if one dies of COVID.
