So here is what we are having a hard time wrapping our puny girly brains around: we remember, due to oldness, when the NRA lobbied to keep Kevlar-piercing bullets legal (for those Kevlar-vested deer), but when did Ted Nugent and pals come to so wholly outrank sensible Establishment Republicans as to get
Just followed a link here from the "Its ok to shoot black cops" story so sorry for the late comment.
If a bailiff knocks on the door of a Sovereign citizen to ask why he hasn't paid all those fines for not doing stuff the law says he should, but the S/C is SURE that the law is unlawful, can he shoot the Bailiff, who is obviously acting illegally, because he is a Sovereign Citizen?
The NRA and their cohorts promote laws like this as "gun rights". But that's incorrect. These are laws to expand killing rights; to establish more situations where it is legal to kill someone. For God's sake -- and I mean that literally -- why does anyone think that's a good thing?
You're right. That's why the Second Amendment needs to be interpreted in its original sense: Militias have the right to military grade weapons. Today that means if you don't have nukes, you're not safe.
Two of the three pillars of the Repubican party. (The third is billionaires should not pay taxes.) Protect innocent life, while making it easier (and legal!) to kill people. They should actually read the "Bible" they use to hate teh gheys. (Oops, forgot they have another pillar).
Man, if this doesn't lock up the police union vote for (r)Money, I don't know what will.
Indiana, of course, was the northern home for the KKK. There's a great book about how Notre Dame took on the Klan - since those folks hated Catholics as much as they hated the Blahs.
So now the cops won't even think about giving the folks inside the home a chance?
More Ruby Ridge - just sit up on the hill and gun 'em down when they step outside?
This is like Israel attacking Iran to keep it from getting a nuke. Every other little tinpot nation would look around and say "Man! Got to get me one of those mutherfuckers now. Might really need it."
If one is looking for a long range shot, it seems that the Uzi would not be the "go-to" weapon. Also, if one finds oneself ass deep in the Zombie Apocalypse can never carry enough ammo to defeat them. Your best bet is evasion..and that means silence.
Wait a tick...isn't Indiana one of those states that made it illegal to video/sound record the activities of a cop? That'll be a sticky wicket. You get off scott free for blowing away the cop who is serving you with a warrant, but you'll have to spend 10 years in prison for making a video of it.
Funnily enough, I been through the desert, but only on a horse w/ no name.
Hey, if that guy was delivering anything but my cable bill, he had it coming!

They're being replaced by those new radio transmitter meters. Of course, these devices just open up a whole new can of paranoiac worms.
