Then they asked how excited I was to vote for Bernie or Joe, and since I wasn’t so enthusiastic about either, what were the chances I would end up voting at all, and would I possibly vote for Donald Trump?
I said I would walk barefoot over broken glass to vote for whichever old white dude the Dems nominated, and I would vote for my dog before I voted for Donald Trump, and she had been dead for 2 years.
So, on second thought, if they ask me the most important quality in a candidate, I will say “someone who isn’t Donald Trump,” but that’s actually a patriotic, ideological position as opposed to “making the MAGATs mad,” which is merely a side benefit.
