The Trumpers I have argued with about this are quick to say that "Obama built the cages", as if this absolves their cult leader of any responsibility.

Ideally Stephen Miller starts his life sentence at ADX Florence before his own child is born. See how you like it, Nazi boy. Although I doubt he is capable of love, even of loving his own child. What a bunch of un-American monsters.

Considering what some of them were running from, there may be an unfortunate amount of truth to the idea that some of them actually don't want their kids back. Imagine having to make the Hobson's choice between reuniting with them and knowing every day they might be snatched up by a gang/trafficked/murdered or being able to tell yourself that they're living a better life with a foster family far, far away.

Stephen and Katie Miller better fucking pay for this. I don't give a fuck about their upcoming little bundle of joy.

You've got a good point, there. They can absolve their consciences over the tRump baby jails by concocting a whole different scheme, affecting entirely different children (how much you wanna bet those Quislings all secretly picture only blond-haired, blue-eyed babbies being shoved into those Wayfair cabinets?) then resume their presumed moral high ground with impunity.

It's also a complete lie - I'm not in the mood to elucidate the complexities of private prison construction, which the Administration was also against but the McTreason-led Senate refused to help them stop - but you can't really talk rationally with brainwashed people

And yet they seem to have no problem believing the set of liars that just happens to correspond to their personal prejudices somehow..
