I think Peter O’Toole rolled in his grave when Laura Loomer compared Trump to T.E. Lawrence.

How do the MAGA's not see that Trump flip-flops more than a fish on the deck of a trawler.

"Get a man who looks at you like this" - thank you, Marcie, because this was my first thought when I saw the same pic on I believe, Tiedrich's post the other day, but no one echoed it. Just don't get one who looks at you like this while being MAGA or TFG and chances are, you're good.

All, I mean ALL, Trump has ever, EVER wanted was to be in the in-crowd in the greatest city I the world, New York, and so when the mayor of New York comes near him he smooches the guy’s ass like he’s kissing his momma. Well, not HIS momma, but someone’s. It’s a reflex. Muscle memory.

I think Mamdani being polite to him was what Trump got. He might have expected the anti-Trump to smash his reputation and give him the opening for another Zelensky-style beatdown. But all he got was a consummate politician saying what he wanted to hear. Echoing his own campaign slogans with subtle twists.

Mamdani has already done an interview with a hugely influential YouTube show. Spoiler alert: He stayed on his affordability for New Yorkers message. https://youtu.be/hsi5C_5HpoY?si=oaNWCbFmArpm_IQz

Ta, Marcie. Zohran is a winner, on so many levels. I think That Thing in the Offal Office was hoping some of that would rub off. Nah.

My wingnut bro posted something that originated with some organization with the word "conservative" in its name that (badly) tried to make the case that Trump brilliantly won the day in that fascist exchange. For one thing, I don't think they printed ALL the actual words, but summarized it in a way that (they apparently thought) it made Mamdani look bad and Trump look good. Like somehow his response, go ahead say it, was a REAL ZINGER. Sure, Jan.

Oh no, there are idiot "lefties" who are livid over that exchange. Which is ridiculous, but those cons are not wrong that some see it just as they're claiming.

Trump didn’t get “won over.” He got short-circuited. Mamdani walked in with a functioning brain and a steady vibe, and Trump imprinted on him like a confused duckling. The base wanted a cage match, and instead they got grandpa swooning at the socialist from Queens. Give it a day and he’ll flip back, but for one beautiful moment a fascist got emotionally declawed by a guy who bikes to work.

Trump really reminds me of what I saw in a nursing home for people with dementia. Unstable but a lot of times just a big old smile because they don’t know what else to do.

Listening to him talk is to listen to an elderly dementia patient even if the media refuses to acknowledge it
