Dems need to set aside the billionaires thing. That's the last war, and we lost it. Right now we're in a constitutional crisis, and if we don't deal with that, we're never doing to be able to stop the upward movement of wealth.

This is why I don't see Bernie or Elizabeth Warren as the saviors of the party or of the country.

The Guardian piece gets it right. Elon Musk and the tech billionaires don't even get mentioned until the 22nd graf. We've got bigger problems now and we'd better wake up to that soon.

Uhm, they're the same problem. The corporation hierarchy is inherently fascistic. So of course corporate overlords are going to be fascistic. And money buys power, the corporate overlords have the first and want the second. So they buy governments.

I'm exhausted. I spent more time than I should have today arguing with yet another centrist liberal over my right to exist as a trans person. Isn't the first time. His position was literally, "trans people are losing Democrats elections, so Democrats need to stop talking about trans people"

And it went downhill from there. Everything that you can think would have been implied by that statement eventually was written outright.

I'm exhausted. But I didn't come here to write about how tired I am.

I came here to write about centrists, like Schumer, and his last final betrayal of the people that voted for him. He stands of shoulders of centrist giants like Manchin and Sinema who were betraying their constituents before it was cool.

And if you ask me, I see the average age of our liberal representatives, and I am not surprised they're still playing from a book that was written when Bill Clinton won. The people that were infants when that happened are adults with back pain and cancer now. And they're being fucked.

YOUR SHIT DOESN"T WORK.

STOP BLAMING PROGRESSIVES

STOP BETRAYING YOUR VOTERS

AND LISTEN TO YOUR FUCKING BETTERS, YOU ARROGANT ASININE FAILURES OF PUBLIC "SERVANTS"

I've put up with them blaming the left for their own failures for years. Look where it got us.

Fuck all of you useless backstabbing moderates. You ARE the fucking problem.

I watched the Denver speeches, and AOC's made me tear right up, then look for something useful I can contribute to this fight. It was straight out of a Frank Capra movie.

"Last night, Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez kicked off their Fighting Oligarchy tour in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tempe, Arizona, selling out a massive 5,000-person arena with probably even more people outside."

* It's really difficult to have any empathy for Chuck "McConnell" Schumer when there are *real* Dem Congressional leaders like AOC, Sanders, and Jeffries fighting the good fight and nor rolling over for belly rubs from the RINOs.

* Selling out a 5000 seat arena is chump change when compared to the 100,000-250,000 people the Fulvous Fuckwad draws to his rallies.

* The Dems are lying through their teeth. I don't see how the Dems can attract even 500 people to listen to them during their preaching and complaining tour. It's obvious, to me at least, that Mooseballs Mussolini will *always* get, geometrically, more attendees to listen to his ranting and raving than any Dem could dream of.

-----

"But what did they do, exactly, to draw such crowds?"

My money's on bribery. There's no way that the Dems can draw anyone into their rallies without paying the attendees for their wasted time.

-----

"Like if Gavin Newsom were out there trying to rally all the people who think he’s a shoo-in for 2028 (please no) instead of … doing a podcast in which he highlights how fabulously reasonable Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon are."

Newsom has triangulated beyond trying to show his centrist side (which doesn't exist) and looks to be attempting to woo Right wingnuts into supporting him. I wish him luck considering, IMO, he has no chance of recruiting Buttigieg's, Pritzker's, Beshear's, or Ms Harris' (should she choose to run in 2028) followers to his cause.

-----

"Right now, we really all kind of need to be on the same team"

Ms Pennacchia, please forward this to Sen Schumer who is acting like a DINO coddling the other side of the aisle, and *not* like the leader of the opposition. He's acting like it's 2015 at the latest; he seems to believe that the RINOs of today are open to negotiations on legislation and wouldn't lie to him about their intentions. The RINOs being open to Dem wonts is as likely to occur as Scrooge McDuck giving his wealth away to charities.

I'm sorry, I thought that my sarcasm was rather obvious. While the ~100k attendees has been mentioned by someone besides a Fulvous Fuckwad lackey -- his NJ shore rally (but this is the same crowd that made Snooki a star, so...) -- but contrary to his claims, Mooseballs Mussolini never held a rally in a venue that could come close to holding 200k groupies, the reported Madison Square Garden lovefest:

> "the crowd size at former US President Donald Trump’s recent rally at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, with some claims suggesting attendance reached nearly 200,000." https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/us/did-200000-people-attend-donald-trumps-madison-square-garden-rally-heres-the-truth/articleshow/114853795.cms

But nah-hah:

> "Venue Capacity Confirms 20,000 Limit

According to Madison Square Garden Entertainment’s filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the arena’s maximum capacity is approximately 21,000 seats.

For Trump’s rally, the venue was configured to hold around 19,500 attendees, as reported by outlets like USA TODAY and The Hill. This falls significantly short of the 200,000 attendees claimed on social media." [ibid]

-and-

> "So far in 2024, CCC has logged 37 political rallies at which former president Donald Trump appeared, and we have information on crowd size for 28 of them. Across those 28 rallies and using our standard estimation rules (see below), the average crowd size has been about 5,600.

...

Vice President Harris has appeared at six campaign rallies. The reported crowd sizes at those rallies have ranged from about 10,000 to about 15,000, and we calculate an average size across the six of about 13,400." https://ash.harvard.edu/articles/the-real-numbers-tracking-crowd-sizes-at-presidential-rallies/

IOW, I wasn't sleeping through 2024, and I know the difference between reality and the bovine scat of the Mango Malignancy's alternative reality.

DOJ Designates Posting Photos Of Balding Elon Musk As Domestic Terrorism

https://theonion.com/doj-designates-posting-photos-of-balding-elon-musk-as-domestic-terrorism/?mc_cid=8a83ccfed5&mc_eid=7869421aa2

WASHINGTON--Warning that the charge carried a five-year mandatory minimum sentence, the U.S. Department of Justice declared Friday that the distribution of images featuring a balding Elon Musk constituted an act of domestic terrorism. "For the benefit of all Americans, anyone who posts or reposts photos from Mr. Musk's PayPal days will be prosecuted for terrorism," said Attorney General Pam Bondi, who confirmed the Justice Department was already prosecuting multiple cases in which social media users were alleged to have disseminated decades-old photos of the DOGE leader's receding hairline. "Anyone who likes or replies to the photos will be treated as a terrorist sympathizer. If you possess these images, delete them now. Elon Musk is a patriot with a great American hairline." At press time, President Donald Trump was showing his support for Musk by getting hair plugs in a televised press conference on the White House South Lawn.
