[Edit]Kasich served nine terms as a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Ohio's 12th congressional district from 1983 to 2001.

He claimed when he was in Washington, the economy was strong?

Reagan doubled the debt. Of course, economic activity will be "strong" if you're putting it all on the Card.

I remember a bad crash in 1987.

I remember massive cuts in the Defense budget to "blue states" by then Defense Secretary Dick Cheney in the early 90's decimating the Los Angeles area.

I remember the budget surplus evaporating in 2001. I also remember a huge recession beginning in 2001 due to obligate lack of diligence "BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO STRIKE IN US."...

We watched another racist "colorful" conservative theatrical thingy, Gone With The Wind. More blacks, better costumes, lots 'o' drinking, cussing and fine music.

They should have gotten Candy Carson to sing...Rachel Maddow played a clip of her screeching her way through the Anthem and it made my dogs howl.

The nuns stopped teaching penmanship by time I was in about 4th grade. My legibility quickly disappeared. My usual style is a mix of print and cursive combined with abbreviations that only I can read easily. I'm picking out this comment on an iPad screen. I expect what typing skills I gained will go the way of my writing.

It was considered a girl's skill back in the day. They honed it and even developed fancy styles of their own. For guys, writing was not manly. We were supposed to dictate and the secretary type it out with correct spelling and grammar. Blue collar just scratched marks on their work.

It was nuns for me too, at least for the first few grades.

Just finished season 5. Have so many thoughts. Does Peggy know about Dick Whitman (yes). Is there anyone left who DOESN'T know about Dick Whitman (no, but Don doesn't know that, which is Not Good). Are they all pimps and/or whores? Yes, except Peggy, and it's killing me that she's probably going to end up on the dark side, she is in advertising after all. (Don't tell me if/how far I'm off mark here-- it's just that since no one else is talking about it anymore, I have no one to bounce this shit off!) And yes-- you're in my tickler; I'll track you down on Disqus when I finish.

No let him suffer. He needs to drop out of the race and stop pretending that he's going to get anywhere close to the White House. From what I recall, his father was a bit more popular whenever he ran.
