They ain't smilin' no more. Good morning, Wonkers! Did you watch the super exciting whoa-gazi jam session CNN did with the Democratic candidates last night? Did it send a thrill up your leg and leave a wet spot on your Down Theres? No? OK, well, that's because town halls are stupid. But tonight, Thursday, the 4th day of February, Hillary and Bernie are gonna scrap it up again, for the primary voters of New Hampshire, and also for all of U.S. America. And since it is a real DEBATE, then you get a real DEBATE PREVIEW.
this is interesting because hillary ran away with the popular vote in 2008 by half a million and no one really cared. i've always maintained Hillary supporters are the silent majority, dependable Dem voters, albeit less impassioned than those that Obama captured and certainly the chunk Sanders is this time around.
Well, would you look at that? Checking the results, again, I see that all of 25 counties actually went for Obama in 2012. Which, of course, didn't matter. But it was a lot more blue than I remembered, or was expecting . . .
The problem is that the DNC has permitted the GOP narrative to dominate. This was a big mistake one which DWS should lose her position over.
Maybe the Democratic candidates can get their message out w/o the DNC's guidance. The lack of D debates and punishment for their taking part in debates other than those the DNC has organized (which I guess was recently lifted) only benefitted Clinton (known brand) and the GOP.
The other problem is that although the Sanders campaign has registered a lot of first time voters, the numbers are lower than those of the Obama campaign at the same time in '08.
The Democrats have to bring more constituents out to vote and they need to register more new voters. They should be concerned at the high amount of R Iowans who caucused, opposed to the anemic rate of caucusing Iowan Democrats.
At least Bernie and Hillary supporters can play nice over here. Over at Gawker, it's gotten so obnoxious that I stopped reading articles about either candidate.
Considering that his #1 (and #2 and #3) argument for getting votes was that he was yooooogely popular and way ahead in the polls, this has to sting very badly.
I can't even believe all the Bernie supporters over there calling her "Shillary". They just sound like a bunch of morans. Gawker commenters used to be some of the wittiest around, too :( Glad I found Wonkette!

This does not surprise me.
It's available at the University of North Texas gift shop.
I kinda hope that Hilz was making a dig at Bill.
Love me some Emmylou...
Would it really be any worse? At least Dancing gets people to vote.

I doubt any true dem would do otherwise.

"Go vote? You mean there isn't an app for it?"

Welcome to the 99%.

Is dial-up the same as a land line?Cause that's a good measure if you're talking about Trump!
Brut would be more fitting.
