And they also feel that, while girls and even grownass women aren't mature enough to decide for themselves whether to have an abortion, they're for sure mature enough to have babies! If they had brains, the cognitive dissonance would have exploded them by now.

Wait; they're both in at the same time? Dude.

Yes, but these legislators are acting as though the parents are not.

And so what exactly is a "buzzsaw"? I'm a carpenter, and I don't think I've ever encountered one.

that is a good question. apparently the internet thinks it's a different word for circular saw.

Just when you think a shit-hole like Nebraska can't possibly have any redeeming value.....

There's enough gun-toting redneck bigots around that I fear for her life.

All they have to do in DC is just say "I filibuster this" and poof, it's filibustered. They are lazy assed chumps, legislation still gets passed, and we allow all that. Cavanaugh is talking. All day, every day. Much the same as Wendy Davis did in 2013 in Texas, against abortion legislation.

They don't need to talk to anyone to know what is best for them so why should they leave it to the parents to make the wrong decision/snTalk about the nanny state and abridging parental rights.

I know. I know. But this is such an extreme example. I'm mystified at what they think is actually going on, if they don't believe in what kids and professionals say is going on. I mean, it's a life of getting bullied-- really the opposite of getting all the candy you could eat. Know what I mean?

Manchin and Sinema high-five each other while Republicans use the filibuster to block voting rights legislation and codify abortion rights.

Also, too, Cavanaugh is actually sitting there and holding up business by speaking. None of this chickenshit "an intern sends an email and the bill is dead" bullshit the US Senate allows.

Let's put it this way: on a planet a lot further away than Krypton.

When Boof passes out at the next Supreme Court office picnic, can we slip her onto the court when the others aren't looking?Hey, look, it's Justice Cavanaugh, with a "C".
