Same here...I voted for Bernie in the primaries...but when I got to see the real Hillary I was entranced (and angry at myself for believing the unending lies about the Clintons). I met someone at my gym whose father had a very high position in the Clinton WH. She said that a lot of people don’t know how deeply religious Hillary is and was then. She has a small private Bible which she carries with her at all times. She is a Yankee...and one of the Yankee virtues is private religious observance and belief. And believe in public education and belief in the arts.
I had a similar conversation with someone who had a Master's Degree.
Basically, they told me that it *might* be possible the far side of the moon *might* be made of green cheese and we can't say that's "not a fact (no evidence)".
There's plenty of evidence thats not true, just like there's plenty of evidence eating "non-moderate"* quantities of animal protein isn't healthy.
Graham is just as terrible a guy as John Boehner was, but after he's out of office journalists will be elbowing each other out of the way to have some milk and cookies on Lindsey Graham's veranda. These guys should never be allowed in polite society again.
I had one the other day, and I realized that the reason there's such a stretch between the McRib's availabilities(?) is to give everybody a chance to forget how terrible they are.
This is not 2016....so we don’t give a fuck about you DINOs at all. Now everyone get out the vote.

Yes, he's the one who got squeezed out of Fox spews, for not being sufficiently evil.
Our Shivaskeeper is seldom wrong.
There are two on this site.
Damn, I think that qualifies you for sainthood.
Horseshoe theory, they are what repubs think all lefties are like.
She's a lifelong Methodist and her faith is genuine, not put on like others in politics.
Nope. That's an anecdote.
Thanks for playing scientist, but that's totally wrong to say an anecdote is a fact. It's not.
BTW, this article was about how dumb it is to claim there is no evidence red meat is unhealthy, because no double blind placebo studies.
Did you miss that crucial part? And thanks for changing the subject.

If Life is about anything, it's about the choices people make.
And guess what? Most people have zero regret about their choices. Zero. None.
Or at least they loudly proclaim they don't.
I judge people not by their words, but by their actions.
This picture is a wonderful illustration of people who think ANYTHING they want is OK.
Obviously, this fellow has made lots and lots and lots of choices.
People like this actually brag they don't eat "rabbit food" (healthy food choices).
Just hearing those 3 little words "healthy food choices" evokes a pompous, self-centered response from them: "I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT".
They look upon people who make healthy food choices as KOOKS.
They laugh about how they don't listen to what Science says.
What's wrong with CELEBRATING this person's choices by posting their picture?
They're PROUD of their choices. 😅
Jelly libelz!

Puts you in mind of the Beatles' song "Piggies."
