Come to think of it, Christopher Reeve lived in the same dorm that I did a couple of years before I got there. People who knew him said he was very low-key and hard-working.

All you have to do is preboard is claim a disability. It doesn't even have to be a legitimate one. People have asked to preboard because they injured a finger. So she could have made up a claim, but when she was asking to preboard in San Antonio, she didn't. Instead, she asked the CSA at the gate, "do you know who I am?" And then got huffy when the CSA said "yes, but that's not a reason for preboarding." And now refuses to fly. I know this secondhand because it was my father's coworker who dealt with it.
