Wait, wait, wait, wait. Nikki Haley on the racism she experienced as a child:
“We were the only Indian family in our small Southern town. I was teased every day for being brown…I know the hardship and pain that comes with racism.”
I know where she grew up. That part of South Carolina is majority-minority. I just looked it the fuck up. The population of Bamberg, SC is 57% Black. Orangeburg County, SC -- where she attended a *fucking segregation academy* -- is 76% Black.
I'm not saying she didn't experience racism, but I'm willing to bet that the teasing she endured at her lily-white private schools was subtly different than the racism experienced by the many poor Black kids her parents made absolutely sure she didn't grow up with.
The MAGAverse is crying election interference because Trump's rape hearing is postponed until tomorrow, New Hampshire's primary day.. The postponement was requested by Alina Habba.
