Hell, all we have to do is inspire them to get off their asses and vote. Nearly 60% of the voters in our district voted, which, though record breaking, is pitiful.
There are plenty of people who think "I don't know anything about politics and politicians all seem like selfish dicks anyway, so I will vote for the one with boobies, because I like seeing boobies on TV." But who can be convinced by arguments why one is better than the other.
Ol' Handsome Joe also gave Bobo the business for taking credit for stuff she voted against (which is the one tradition, old-school GOP practice in which Bobo engages on a regular basis).
