Perhaps. I think there are real problems with the sheer excess and relentlessness of social media---there is something incompatible with how humans are supposed, at optimum, to function. It's a form of sensory overload, which we know from generations of research is potentially immensely damaging, especially to kids.
Probably, and I'm sure in the future we'll look back at how the internet functions now and describe it as basically chaos, or like the Wild West. We'll eventually build structures and rules and social conventions for containing this thing, but right now we're still in the process of comprehending what exactly we've created here.

Gyms that have taken appropriate precautions in equipment, procedures, distancing and PPE policies have been open in NYC since September 2nd. Indoor fitness classes resumed Monday. There haven't been any reports of a COVID outbreak traced to NYC gyms in 7 months.

Also, this: Facebook's ballyhooed "Supreme Court" for content moderation is a bunch of Bally-Hooey, a backdoor way to put banned content and users back up while deflecting blame for it.
