Uncle Joe, please do your best to raise the price on hydroxichloroquine and ivermectin.I want the people taking it to be paying out the ass for it…just because.Wait, they’ll literally be paying out the ass when they take that stuff.
Sometimes they gotta 'try' what they know is illegal, thinking people don't want to tangle with lawyers.
Sometimes it helps if a few people sign a letter asking for clarification on the legal mechanism behind the sudden hike, as they had been informed by non-retained legal council (lie, lie lie) this may not be 'correct' interpretation of the law, and you are 'a tad confused'.
By not coming at them with legal letterhead, they might back down, and go: 'oh! our mistake, nevah mind'. If you pull out the legal guns too quick, they get nervous, and double-down, fearing your lawyer will try for a bigger civil suit payout your lawyer can get in on. Landlords always have deeper pockets when it comes to lawyers, so record everything, especially phone calls or have a witness if the landlord stops by for a personal visit. But take it from me, if they get away with it, they will be back for more.
We are such good tenants... but maybe? This is Seattle. They can probably get MANY MORE AMEROS if they rent fresh to a tech bro. Hmmmm.... interesting thought!

At least they will have a legitimate claim to being' butt-hurt' about something for once in their lives.

Just my two-cents.
Joe brings it good, but no one cares because he sells steak and not sizzle.
Those hungry for better always knew donnie couldn't deliver policy for the masses but Biden (and Obama before him) couldn't sell water in a desert.
ZOINKS!
That never gets old!
So let me guess, nothing counts as a win, and we should all just roll over and give up.

This looks to me like the covering up of evidence. Maybe a dog got a taste, or a kid put their hand on it, or an adult…
Sounds fishy as hell to me, too, but I'm a Communications Manager, which is about a far from lawyer as it gets. ;-)
I did not see what you did there either. :)
Moving could be more expensive than the extortion. Which sounds like the plan.
Good news as I assume there is a FARC cookbook coming soon. https://www.atlasobscura.co...
To which I say, talk to a lawyer.
You could likely make another year at your current rent more affordable than evicting you..
So that frees up $120,000 he can use toward campaigning (should he run).
Which just seems like a way to thwart FEC restrictions.
Just in case some whippersnapper has never heard this:https://youtu.be/wtJ1Gnh9wPU
