Not better, but also contributing. A lot of people doing crap jobs were forced to take a break from them. After having enough time away, no longer befogged by the endless treadmill of thankless work, a lot of people could not bring themselves to go back. Me. I'm people.

Even though my mom lived 15 minutes from Burbank meant flying into LAX....or just saying fuck it and driving. From Carson, going down 395 is such a beautiful drive

Drama is more important than democracy.

Reminds me of the town hall featuring Pete Buttigieg and Chris Wallace. They were pretty pro-Pete.

We all know that from the moment of conception a fetus looks EXACTLY like a miniature person, with a head and arms and legs. The only thing that changes is its size! \s

Yes. About ten minutes after the ritual lighting of cigarettes, the fetus looks like this:

Everybody knows this.

I'm sorry, but if you think inflation is the most important thing and you are going to vote for a Republican, you are a fucking moron. I know it is ever so rude to insult salt of the earth "swing" voters, but, jesus, those Republicans aren't going to do anything about it.

There are pretty limited options for politicians in regards to inflation, but even the limited ones won't be done by Republicans. The best proposal I know about is some sort of windfall tax on corporate profits because clearly one of the sources of inflation are companies with limited competition are raising prices because they can. Why this seems to still be a mystery to many economists is a mystery, especially as the CEOs are bragging about their pricing power at shareholder meetings.

Another option for the Executive branch is more antitrust enforcement.

Wouldn't the unemployment rate be higher if that were the case? I don't know if swmnguy's numbers are correct but I've always thought it was weird that a million americans have died and nobody seems to think that has any impact on our economy.

Heck, Megyn Kelly's still out there and she got 7 million just to leave NBC.

What a snafu at FOX. Fortunately for them, most of their audience was half-asleep and didn't notice.

"Huh? Wha' hoppen?" is the motto of most Republican voters. Where would the GOP be without American idiots?

Someone should explain to Justice Scalito. He claims not to un'erstan'.

Republicans are proud of their ignorance, right up to the top of their pyramid.
