I hate these motherfuckers with the fury of a million hurricanes. We all did the right thing and got our shots and we're still being held hostage by morons. I have kids who are too young to get vaccinated. Kids who missed a year of school. Kids who gave up a year and a half of their childhood, mostly to protect adults. Now there's a fucking varient that can make kids sick. So now im torn between not giving a shit about how many Republicans die now and being terrified of the mutations of the virus these idiots are going to foist upon the rest of us. I just want to scream.
“Oh noes! The dumbasses who listened to us and didn’t get their shots are now dying! That’s less votes for us! Quick, tell ‘em it’s safe before we lose our cushy jobs.”
Always, always, always it’s about them putting themselves first even as they try to contain the damage their short sighted stupidity caused in the first place. Like the fucking tides, these Republican assholes are.
Right there with you. Fortunately we have really high vaccination rates (over 70% fully vaxxed, 80% of those 12 and up), but it’s a tourist town, so I still don’t feel like I can take my kids anywhere with thousands of visitors per week wandering around, and I have a constant thrum of dread in the background about the start of the school year. Last year we got through the high tourist season with relatively few cases, but then everyone let their guard down too soon (understandably—the level of abuse local workers absorbed all last summer was awful, and folks were exhausted), went on their Labor Day weekend vacations and brought our first real wave of Covid back with them.
Yep…I was thinking the same. Although don’t forget that Putin wants chaos and destruction of the USA…so he doesn’t care if Rethugs die.
Fuck these sons of bitches with a large barrel cactus.
You expressed my feelings perfectly.
The largest.
From the mouths of shadowy angels.

I hope for the sake of our medical workers the vaccine hold outs get the shot. Does it matter? Because the dead vote Republican.
Looks like the delta variant is gerrymandering itself
