And that statement is based on what? Something or someone else just thought up with no factual basis? Certainly no virus expert has suggested it. Just you.

I have never heard any expert say that any vaccine is 100% effective. That's just the way it is. Since few other things are perfect, the vaccine's imperfection should not come as a surprise. But if somethings is likely to keep you healthy and alive, do it.

I agree about the corporations, but fortunately they do have to get permission from some pretty picky health councils before they can vaccinate the public.

But upfront they didn't know that much about COVID..

I always figured it would be similar to flu, which requires a new shot every year and has to try to deal with variants.

I haven't had a common cold for two years now. I love it. Fiery sore throats and stopped-up noses are generally not fatal, but they feel bad and virus prevention helps with colds too.

I get the jabs and intend to continue to wear the mask in crowded indoor spaces in cold weather when viruses seem to flourish. Every little bit of protection against viruses helps.

Good advice when reading anything. Check the author and her/his biases first. It's possible for someone to tell the truth and still be totally misleading.

As Tosca said above, a booster every six months is far less hassle than taking a daily pill for cholesterol reduction or the daily supplements and assorted "woo" pills consumed in mass quantities by the general public.

Long before Covid, most folks had no prob w/annual ‘flu shot’, not realizing that it was a crap shoot whether or not it could handle that year’s predominate strain.
