I'm tired of this swarm of so many people who're like that. I better go watch On the Beach quick. I mean that's a movie where even one other person being left after nuclear armageddon will be cherished-- you don't mind if they're silly fools.

IANAL, but my understanding is there's a *huge* amount of leeway given to federal lawmakers to run their mouths however they want, as long as they're doing it as a part of their duties. Kinda like how PAB tried to get out of E. Jean Carroll's suit by claiming him defaming her was somehow part of his duties as POTUS. So yeah, telling lies is completely covered, and saying "your day is coming" is probably okay unless he starts making explicit threats like "we've got a noose ready for you" or something. I mean, he could always argue he only meant Wray was going face justice in the form of the courts and prison. It might even be true.
