Isn't there some clause or other in the Bar Association's standard of ethics about not being as stupid as your criminal client? Because Habba has crossed that line a long time ago.

I thought that attorneys were supposed to guide their clients and provide them with legal counsel, not make up legal shit based on whatever hare-brained, egomaniacal idea their clients come up with while having their morning session on their golden throne.

Did she even go to law school? Or did she get her degree from a matchbook cover?

What is with this lady? Wasn't she a mall lawyer or something near Bedminster or some s*it? I could google but there are more important things to do, like getting ready for the new catboxes. Happy New Ear, Wonkers :)))

Ta, Evan. I have many better things to do with my life, as a matter of fact.

"Because that’s definitely how Supreme Court justices make decisions."

`

Given the last few decisions by these hacks -- at least one of which was based on Alito pulling something that never happened, but that MIGHT happen, directly out of his ample ass -- I have no idea how, or if, they make decisions. At this point, maybe they're just throwing darts at a board printed with Leonard Leo's random thoughts.

I don't think you guyzes did a very good job of skipping over the farts, as I am still hearing them.

"How is that fair, Brett and Amy and Neil? Donald Trump made you! (Guaran-damn-tee that is what Trump thinks."

Because he is not terribly intelligent, Ol' Poopy Pants does not seem to grasp that Boofy McRapeface and Amy Coathanger have LIFETIME appointments, and therefore, do not need to stay in his good graces anymore. They've hit their level. He can't do them any good, and he can't do them any harm. Oh, of course, he could whip up one or more of his cult followers to an act of stochastic terrorism against them -- but HE, himself, can't demote them or impeach them or screech, "YOU'RE FIRED!" at them.

As I said the other day, they were hired to do one thing and they did it. You think they’re worried about getting impeached?

Skip over the farts??!??! That's probably the most intelligent sound Durian J Trump's lawyers can make.

Pettifogging lawyers look down on them with distain.

Shouldn't the justices he appointed recuse themselves?

One would think, right?

With the pathetic lawyers he has, trump may actually be the best communicator of the bunch. Of course, what he's communicating is garbage.

Also remember that in trump's case, the bar is set really low. I think it's in the bottom of the Mariana Trench at this point.

Prisoner talking to his attorney in 'White Heat' -

'Jerry, you couldn't get me outta here if I was pardoned.'

Just sayin'...

In case no one mentioned this...Evan, meerkat libelz. Not only are meerkats smarter than TFG's lawyers, they are way better looking.

I'm astounded at Habba's take that she'd rather be recognized for being good looking vs intelligent...

Has she have no idea what makeup and hair care is about? Selling yourself as something you're not. Not saying she'd bad looking.

But I'd hazard s guess, that anyone , man or woman, who went through law school would want to down play their degree.

And most intelligent women want to be known for their brains. They know all the snide aside men usually have about sleeping to get ahead. And want no part .

Need for her it's easier to apply makeup than to apply brains if you lack them... Come on... Forgot to check a box on the first page of a filing,.. especially a case in front of the media , etc

That was supposed to be... anyone who's gone through law school wouldn't ...down play their degree'

If she honestly believes that "the law is on his side", she's either delusional or incompetent.

Trump is worried that maybe Clarence Thomas, the guy who takes bribes from billionaires, and Boof Kavanaugh, who mysteriously had a bunch of debt erased right before he was nominated to the SCOTUS, would rule against him simply as a matter of keeping up the appearance of impartiality? OK SURE BUDDY

This is from the same mind that brought you, “I will win, but if I do lose, it’s because the election was rigged.” It’s such a convenient argument, because even if he loses, he wins because the other guy cheated.

“he is concerned that they he didn’t pay them enough (are going to look as if they’re trying not) to rule in his favor and might rule against him,” Haberman said.

FIFY

Also if Trump gets immunity to commit crimes that would be the very worst thing for this court. He could send any one of them to the firing squad anytime they disagree with the Orange Asshole. They cannot risk that.

And finally, after actually reading the constitution over the weekend along with the brief that sites Gorsuch himself, the court has no jurisdiction over the eligibility within states for candidates. Very clearly gives age and citizenship requirements and that pesky little problem PAB had with an insurrection. You do not meet those standards/requirements it is up to the states to enforce. Good luck!

Even if the six republican justices want to give him his immunity, do we dare think they'd do it early enough for OHJB to also claim immunity and use it for good, not evil?
