We all like to think the Dems will do something about this, but in the decades I’ve been politically aware, they have done NONE of this. They differ, they backpedal, they whine about losing votes from flyover country, and sometimes they just side with the Republicans in the name of “bipartisanship” and “compromise.” Instead they let the rot of our nation continue, mostly because, despite their claims of progressivism, they are beholden to the same economic and cultural interests as the right is and they won’t dare change a damn thing lest they lose their jobs.
The first thing to do is to line up two Jackson-esque judges who are about 35, and have them replace Sotomayor and Kagan. Not that they're doing a bad job, but we need to lock in younger folks. Next, we have to have two more in line who are ready to replace Alito and Thomas for when they die.
