I asked her, well, did you send him money like he was always asking? And she was like, well no, he is not catholic. Not sure being saved by religious intolerance is really the best thing in the world, but had she not been catholic, we probably would have been even poor-er than we were.
There's a moral to this story somewhere, but hell if I can find it.

One thing Iโm excited about: Iโve been gifted a cast iron skillet! Nothing terribly huge, but definitely big enough for me to feed myself with. Like maybe a nice baked turkey loinโฆ
Also Iโm making a change, or trying to, by drinking less soda and more juices. I figure my kidneys will appreciate it, and I love kiwi strawberry juice.
Might want to check the sugar content of the juice, often times they have as much as soda. I found that out the hard way. I am now trying to force myself to drink more water (with about a third lemonade because it makes it better, and a crap load of ice) because of that. Sigh.
