As a Missourian, I don't think this "purges" Hoskins in any way, shape, or form for his actions. He still attempted to ratfuck the state by going to the Eastern District of MO in the first place. He and Hanaway can both eat the biggest bags of dicks.

I live here in the eastern part of Missouri and every day I wish Gov. Pritzker could annex St. Louis City and parts of St. Louis County. We live in constant misery with our governor and legislature. Their only intent is to show the other states how corrupt and backward the state truly is. I was born and raised in Chicago and miss it every day :(

When reporting news about doings of the Court I kinda wish the authors would avoid talks about Stays and Continuances and instead summarize that that means. Dok did pretty good on this. SCOTUS rules Missouri had to use the 2022, ungerrymandered map, which is a lot easier to understand than saying this courted stayed the decision of another court that stayed a decision that a third court had stayed,
I wonder when Hoskins and Hanaway come up for election? Here in WA we have been fortunate in that our WA Secretaries of State have been very professional about elections and the districting commissions have attempted to create fair maps.
So what does that do to the primary election results, where candidates won the nominations in districts that don't exist anymore? Do they go back and count who would have won their primaries if the particular voting precincts were in the old districts?
