I hate being this way, but I simply can't help thinking that this Supreme Court decision is deliberate fig leafing. "Sure, we've underwritten an overt agenda of transparent and unmitigated voter disenfranchisement and also introduced untold and unprecedented chaos into democratic processes, but don't pay any attention to that, look over here how reasonable we were about this one house seat in Missouri!"
It's like the mugger who gaslights you "I'm taking everything, I want everything. Give me *everything*. OK, I'm being reasonable here, I'm not a bad guy, you can keep your underpants."
Btw if you live in Texas (esp Harris county), honestly go re-register to vote. They have 1.2 people's registrations in limbo over bullshit. Better safe than sorry.
If your stuff turns out to be a-ok, then yay. If not, then you have now fixed it!
Brame Klezmer Teim!! This was supposed to be a portrait of Lewis Biscuit Kitty. But when I downloaded the image from my camera, Clark Monster was also in the image. CM photo bombed my pic!! That punk!!
OT it's pretty clear that Bezos' pilots screwed up being in a hurry and crashed their plane killing 5 and injuring 5 including 3 in Critical Condition. Did their pee bottles roll under the foot pedals perhaps? Or is it a culture of "move fast and break things"?
As a historical note, People Not Politicians was almost the same as the name of the group that worked hard in 2016 and 2017 on the nonpartisan referendum in Michigan that eliminated Republican gerrymandering here with a hugely successful 2018 election victory for their initiative.
I have previously mentioned that their template has the potential to be successful in other states that permit ballot initiatives to fix things like gerrymandering.
A week or so ago Thom Hartmann said that a tear in the space/time continuum or something (that wasn't actually the reason but "something") had screwed up all of our GPS toys somehow so that they were now "off by 33 feet" which is a little excessive if you're trying to point your car the right way. That must be why my Tom Tom is always saying "you have reached your destination" when we're still about a half block away.
Clearly we need tuba (and trombone!) players to show up at all sorts of events to add sound effects to politics. Can any get close enough to play sir into a room? Time will tell.
Missouri has a lot of bedroom communities and the gas prices are biting hard.
Since the state is controlled by Republicans you would think this would be a good time to turn the volume down on their awful but, no, they are turning it up to 11.
And between the 2 cities is mostly agriculture, so big use of diesel. One time about 200 mi outta KC, my load shifted and I lost a cat carrier. No cat, spoiled brats rode with me.
We always let ours out of the carrier on long trips. Mostly they’re cooperative, although one has suddenly jumped down into the footwell making potentially braking problematic for a few seconds.
This here's a thing of beauty, will Natalie have an answer?

Awww, Lewis is in love. 🥰 The magnificently furred and marked Clark looks like a little hellion. I love little hellions.
He's called Monster because reasons.
"We are not satisfied with the quality of your reports. You will have to bring us more fresh water and lettuce."
Swarming biscuitos!
After Mark Twain, Harry Truman, Branch Rickey, and an employee I hired from Cape Girardeau,
it starts to get thin.

Thanks,Prime!
Hopefully they use the ones with that handle/hook shape. You can bungee cord them to almost anything. The pee bottles.
The tuba guy trolling Nazis is never ever not funny.
You know what might be more effective?

Don't be fooled by the video, in person these are earsplitting!
I wish that guy would follow neo-Nazis all over the country.
As a tuba player, that video was epic. I need to learn some riffs like that. :)

The State of Misery: "The Blow Me, Courts" State
"Show me your junk."
Ah yes, the Republican Party Platform.
I just realized, if self driving cars finally take off, we can literally spend every waking moment with a phone in the face.
That's probably the only way they can make money. Rolling advertising experience.
If they finally take off they'll be the self-driving flying cars we were promised.
Especially when it merges with your face when the AI fucks up and plows your car into a parked truck.

Now let’s hope they don’t let Rump get away with mail in ballots being checked by USPS.
My husband said that if they did even HE would be in the streets with torches and pitchforks.
But also remember: When we fight, we win!
The USPS doesn’t have any way to perform the checks, even if directed to do so.
Reference: Two former postmasters I was personally talking to yesterday afternoon.
Elitist!!!!!!!!
womp womp motherfuckers
Trump's pudding brain can't hold it together long enough to lead a call and response . . .
Went about as well as in Blazing Saddles
THAT IS NOT PUDDING!!
Yellow matter custard?
Yellow cake. It cures COVID!!
Dont eat that.
Neither was a Pudding Pop.
We could ask Ron "Three Fingers" DeSantis for his expert opinion.
OMG! I forgot about that. Bleaurgh.

I haven't played Tuba since high school... But I bet I still can.
Always carry a slide whistle or kazoo on your person.
A comb and a piece of paper will do for a kazoo. Dollar bills work very well.
This is really, really, good advice.
Vuvuzelas can be particularly annoying.
"She took me money and run Vuvuzelas"?

Bless their hearts.
It helps they're stupid as fuck.

Thank goodness! If we let our cats out of the carrier, the car becomes a big carrier that they want out of. It’s pandemonium.
